I started this blog as a class assignment. It wasn't going to become a hobby or even a career. I was doing it to learn more about Journalism and the social media world. Last year I didn't come near my blog. I thought about it many different times throughout the year, but stopped myself from posting. Maybe it was because I was too busy or afraid to put myself out there. This year I have decided to change that. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to use this blog more. To have the confidence to write about my experiences and my outfits I wear. It may seem silly to want to be a blogger, but I know many people who are amazing at it or even make careers out of it. This found again hobby isn't to try and become famous (even though that would be really cool). It is for me to enjoy it and enjoy creating the content on this page. So get ready for a whole lot more of me posting and seeing my face!

There is such a place and thing where people dress up like traditional Charles Dickens period and go to a place where it is like living in London during those times. It is called the Charles Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco, specifically the Cow Palace. I went to this fair when I was 12, but haven't gone since then. My mom bought tickets for my family to go and we did just that. It is fun to transport to a different world just for a little bit, even if it is kind of a weird world. You walk around and there are tons of little shops to look at. Most of them are just craft stores or a corset shop or toys etc. The food is also very good even if it is still over priced, but that is expected. My parents and I all got a french dip sandwhich and it was delicious for being fair food. I don't think I would ever actually dress up for such an event, but it was fun to see the little kids who dressed up with their parents. It is hard to tell who are the actors and who are just people coming. They mix together which also makes it seem a little bit more realistic.
It is so much fun and all of the crafts are amazing to look at, at each of the "shops". I would recommend this if you have a few hours to walk around and really take it in. It is also great if you have kids because they can watch plays or look at toys. I am not an Alabama fan, but I came across a video that stuck with me. It is a speech by Marcus Luttrell where he talks about his past and how it relates to the upcoming football game. Even if you aren't a football player, taking Marcus's words and putting them in a different scenario will change the way you look at that situation. Be sure to copy and paste this link!

My friend and I picked a local beauty bar called Aesthetically Speaking. The owner, Alana Davis does many different types of services from eyelash extensions to waxing to facials. I have never gotten a wax, but I decided since I trust this woman and have gotten to know her, I would go ahead and get waxed!
I didn’t really know what to expect other then what my friends had told me about their experiences. So I went into my appointment a little nervous. Alana was wonderful! She was very calm and explained what she was going to do the entire time which made me feel better. Since I thought I might as well go all out, I decided to get a Brazilian wax. Well I am not going to lie at all, it hurt. And it hurt bad! It was so worth it though! I would totally recommend going to get one done. Alana also is doing a discount for students if you bring in your student ID which helps a ton! I love Groupon. It is my thing! I have done numerous things because of it like horse riding lessons and other things. So when I saw a Groupon for an aerial silks class I decided that I just had to get it. It was for 5 classes for either aerial silks classes or pole dancing classes or both. I got so excited because I have never done either one of those classes, but I am a dancer and love anything that can push me. My friend got it too, so I would have a buddy to try it with me. The first two times we went looking for the location we got seriously lost! Like super lost! The first time, we didn’t even make it to the class because we were so lost and the second time we kept missing it. The classes are in a location with a different name on it then is on the Groupon, so really look for the address, not the name. It is in TNT dance studio not Le Cirque Vagabond which is what we were looking for not TNT. So make sure to not make the mistake that we did! Holy Moly!!! Once we finally made it the third time to the class, we showed up on time and got to experience the greatness of a pole dancing class. Boy was it so much fun! It was a blast, but was a lot of acrobatic kinds of moves. Which were SSOOO hard! I was having trouble during the class, but the next day I could barely move my arms. I haven’t used muscles like that probably in forever. I don't know if I would even call it a pole dancing class, I would describe it closer to a pole fitness class. I have so much respect now for people who can do all the crazy moves on the poles, because it is going to take me a very long time to even get close to learning how to do them. I want to keep going because it was something different and exciting then just going on a treadmill!! For More information check out their website! http://www.lecirquevagabond.us
I finally was able to make it to Apple Hill this weekend! We got to High Hill farm since there are ssooo many different farms. You should try to map out which farms you want to go to because there are atleast 100 of them so it is pretty easy to get lost. The drive was actually horrendous and I got mild carsickness which never happens to me. Be prepared if you have anyone who usually gets carsick. Once we got there it was so gorgeous! All the leaves were changing and all the people were friendly and happy to see you there! We even got to park within lines of trees which were all changing colors. It was a littl bit like a scene out of a movie. Then we got cider champagne, which was so amazingly good! We walked around by the pond and just hung out for a little bit in the sun. Then we got some kettle corn. Which I swear was doused in sugar, but ssooo yummy! The temperature was just perfect which was good because I don't really do well if I am in the cold. It was seriously so much fun and I would love to go again because we only got to two of the farms when there are for sure close to 100. If you do go, make sure to figure out which farms you want to go to, because there are so many that just wandering around will take so long.
My favorite word of all time is Incandescently. I think it is an imcredible word and just sounds so cool! It just makes it seem like you know what you are talking about when you use it! I first heard about it in Pride and Prejudice! Find a new word everyday and use it!
